We collect: account info (email, name, profile picture), expense data (amounts, descriptions, dates, categories, group membership), device info (type, OS, app version), and photos only when you choose to scan a receipt.

We use your information to provide and improve FINO — calculating balances, generating settlements, sending notifications about group activity, and anonymized analytics.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing. Expense data is shared only with members of your groups within the app.

4. Data Security

All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). Access to production data is restricted to authorized personnel only.

5. Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and all data at any time from app settings. Deleted data is permanently removed within 30 days.
